Term End Date : 2020 Worked for Hope Association as Program director for 15 years. She is retired but continues to attend and volunteer at agency activities
Term End Date : 2022 Richard is the Vice President of Commercial Lending at Franklin Savings Bank. Mr. Allen has a family member with disabilities and has actively supported the Association for over 20 years.
Term End Date : 2022 Terri is the mother of a program participant in the Hope Association’s programs. She is also an Education Technician in the local elementary school system.
Term End Date : 2022 Dick is a retired paper mill executive manager who has been interested in and supported the Association for over 20 years.
Term End Date : 2020 Vito is the father of a daughter who attended the Hope Training School in the 60’s. Mr. Gaccetta has been actively involved with the Association since that time and has served in a number of roles during over 40 years of service. He is a self-employed shop owner (retired).
Term End Date : 2021 Roger is the owner of a successful real estate company serving the Norther Oxford County region. Mr. Whitehouse has been supporting the Association’s many programs for over 20 years now.
Term End Date : 2022 Richard is one of the charter program participants of the Hope Association; having started as a student at the Hope Training School. Richard was a charter resident at the Association’s first residential home, became one of the first residents to move into his own apartment, and one of the first residents to seek competitive employment out in the community. Mr. Jennison has won recognition and awards for his work; including an all expense vacation to a destination of his choice. He’s a champion advocate for individuals with disabilities and is always focusing on what individuals CAN DO. Mr. Jennison recently retired from active employment and now volunteers his services full time for the Association and its many programs.
Term End Date : 2022 Greg has been affiliated with the Association off and on since 1979, first as a student at the University of Maine at Farmington where he did his student practicum at the old Hope School in Mexico. He worked with the students as a teacher’s aide for approximately 1 year. In 1989 he started his Western Maine Rehabilitation company, providing rehab supports for injured workers. He was approached by an Association Board member to help guide the Association through a state required accreditation process, CARF (Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). He became an employee of the Association to help guide the Association through the rigorous accreditation process. Soon after, he became the Association’s first Executive Director. He worked in this capacity until 2003. In 2003 he left the Association’s employment and went on to manage a couple of other rehabilitation programs in Portland and Norway, Maine. In 2016, he came back to the Association to provide administrative support across all the program areas. In the summer of 2019, after almost 40 years of rehabilitation supports, he retired from the Association to enjoy retirement with his wife of 45 plus years. He now provides occasional supports both as a volunteer and as a consultant.
