OPENING: Community Support Services (Part Time/Per Diem)
Coverage areas needed: Mobile & Virtual programing in Rumford and surrounding towns.
This position works closely with the participants of the Hope Association’s day program. Community Support Services develops individualized person-centered planning for the purpose of mobile and virtual engagement within the community. Collaborating with the participant, family members, friends, and other natural supports, in developing daily activities for community engagement. This program supports people with intellectual or developmental disabilities to learn and discover skills for expanding personal independence. Ideal candidates must utilize electronic equipment, virtual platforms while providing educational instruction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Maine Driver’s License Knowledge of technical equipment
Driving within and outside the community Vehicle Insurance, Registration
High moral character and ethical standards Reliable Transportation/Inspected
Positive Approaches Criminal Record Check
Ability to work independently
1 year experience in the field of human services, Direct Support Professional certification (preferred).
